Step 9. Renewals



Once your contractual tenancy period comes to a close, you may have decided after conversation with your tenants to extend the current agreements. Alternatively, your tenants may be moving elsewhere, meaning that your property will need re-marketing and that new tenants will need to be found.

Either way, at the end of a tenancy period you will engage with the tenancy renewal process. This series of steps is in place to ensure a smooth transfer and good communication between landlord and tenant. Based in our Property Management office in Clapham SW4, our dedicated team of Renewals Consultants are on hand to assist with all aspects of renewing your tenancy.

The role of our renewals specialists included the negotiation of any required rent changes between yourself and your tenants. Part of this service covers:

  • Negotiating rents
  • Negotiating length of contract
  • Submitting the appropriate documentation
  • Organising re-marketing
  • Arranging any aspect attributed to re-marketing such as redecorating
