Viewing Guidelines & Procedure
We are looking forward to meeting you.
In light of COVID-19 and the Government guidelines published to allow us to conduct viewings, we ask you to read the viewing procedure below carefully.
If you have any questions relating to the procedure or don’t feel comfortable with the requests, please don’t hesitate to contact a James Pendleton property expert to discuss your concerns.
➢ We will ask you if you are showing symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate before going ahead with any
viewing or face to face appointment with a member of the James Pendleton team. If your answer is ‘yes’, we
will need to re-schedule the appointment for a more suitable time.
➢ We can only carry out viewings or meetings by appointment to ensure we and the property are fully
➢ Please don’t be offended but, we won’t be shaking your hand when we meet you or say good-bye.
➢ We will not be carrying out open house viewings or viewings with multiple attendants.
➢ In most cases we can conduct virtual viewings or provide you with a video viewing. We advise you to utilise
this experience before arranging a face to face viewing or appointment.
➢ We will accompany you on the viewing but will request a minimum of 2 metres distance from others
➢ We will be wearing face covering and gloves (in-line with Government guidelines) during the meeting. We
ask you to do the same at all times. If you do not have suitable PPE, we can provide the necessary equipment
➢ We will need to meet you at the property.
➢ We will ask you to wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitiser immediately after entering
➢ We will open all internal and external doors, cupboards, cabinets curtains, blinds, shutters and gates for you.
We ask you to not open any of these yourself.
Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
