For a number of reasons, the transition process has been very difficult, requiring urgent coordinated action and quick thinking and problem solving. Among the various JP agents and staff I have met and dealt with during our tenancy and up to this date, Ms Wicks has stood out for her professionalism, courtesy, competence, efficiency and sensitivity to our needs and difficulties. She displayed a 'can-do' attitude and backed it up with effective actions. Her responses to my many queries were prompt and informative. Her demeanor has been of the utmost kindness. We recently bought a wonderful house through James Pendleton and they were a pleasure to deal with. The house purchase was a potentially tricky situation as there was a lot of interest for the property, a competitive bidding situation and the vendor seemed very unsure as to whether they really wanted to sell. However, James Pendleton did an exceptional job of managing the sale in a way that achieved a great price (at our expense...) for their client but also ensured that we were treated fairly throughout the process. Unlike the stereotypical estate agent, they were knowledgable and they got to know us and their client allowing them to show empathy and consideration to the people involved.

They ensured that we were kept well informed at all times, got us access to the property on numerous occasions and set clear time lines for the sale process. After the sale was agreed, the negotiator also took a very pro-active approach in ensuring that the lawyers were progressing matters as required. Although James Pendleton were acting for the vendor they ensured that the process went smoothly for us as well and that we were able to acquire what we hope is our dream home.
